There can be no doubt that the Russian language is one of the richest languages in the world.
As far back as the 9th century, the Eastern Slavic tribes used Old Russian language for communication. But the Old Russian literary language has its origins in the 11th century - the period of the formation of the Kievan State. Since then, it has undergone many changes and come down to us in the way, we use it now.
The Russian language ranks the fifth in the world in terms of the number of Russian-speaking people (after Chinese, English, Hindi and Spanish). It is one of the world's Global languages and the most widely spoken one in Europe - both geographically and by the number of native speakers.
Currently, Russian is one of the UN working languages.
The combination of modern teaching methods is designed to give good results in learning the language. We have made every effort to harmonize understanding of grammar and practice. Particular attention is given to the communicative functions of the language: speaking, reading, listening. The use of game materials in class facilitates better language acquisition.
The work book is designed in such a way that allows instructors to use the intermediate language during classes in minimum; new information - both grammar and vocabulary - is overlapped with the previous one course by course. All texts and assignments, up to the wording, are adapted and correspond to the level of student.
